About these terms

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to every purchase made on baconcollective.com or bacon-republic.com (the “Store”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Shipping Policy, Refund and Reprint Policy, and Privacy Policy, which are part of these Terms.

1. Who you are buying from

The Store is operated by Joseph Schwartz, doing business as The Bacon Republic, 500 Westover Dr #15567, Sanford, NC 27330. Contact: support@bacon-republic.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to purchase from the Store. Orders may be shipped only to eligible U.S. addresses described in the Shipping Policy.

3. Products

The current Store product is a Dark Chocolate Gildan 2400 long-sleeve T-shirt printed to order with direct-to-garment artwork on the front and back. Product images illustrate the finished item; print placement and color may vary slightly from what appears on a screen. The Store lists available size labels and confirms availability before payment, but detailed garment measurements are currently unavailable. You are responsible for choosing your size.

4. Prices, tax, and shipping

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices may change, but the price shown at checkout is the price for that order. Sales tax is calculated and added where required, based on the shipping address. Shipping charges are described in the Shipping Policy and shown before payment.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel an order placed at that price and refund it in full. We will tell you before we cancel.

5. Placing an order and acceptance

Completing hosted checkout submits an offer to buy the items in your cart and begins a 30-minute hold at the recorded paid time. Payment confirmation or an order-status page acknowledges the order; it does not mean the item has entered production. The order is accepted when we release it for fulfillment after the hold. Until then, we may decline or cancel it for a reasonable cause, including suspected fraud, payment failure, a pricing or listing error, an unsupported address, or unavailable stock. If we cancel, we refund any amount charged.

6. Payment and displayed offers

Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. at checkout. We accept payment methods shown there. We do not receive or store your full card number. By providing a payment method, you confirm you are authorized to use it. Charges may appear as BACON REPUBLIC or similar.

Only offers displayed by the Store at the time of purchase apply. An eligible bundle offer is selected in the Store and may not be combined with another discount. The Store does not currently provide a general promotion-code entry field.

7. Cancellation

You may request a full-refund cancellation within 30 minutes after payment is completed using Cancel order on your verified order-confirmation page in the same browser used for checkout. The server verifies the deadline, stops fulfillment when cancellation is confirmed, and requests a full refund. Check the page for the separate final refund status. If self-service cancellation is unavailable, immediately email support@bacon-republic.com with your order number; requests emailed within the window remain eligible for a full refund. After the hold, the order may be released for fulfillment and cannot be cancelled or changed. See our Refund and Reprint Policy.

8. Shipping and delivery

Production and transit estimates, shipping charges, address accuracy, and lost-package handling are described in the Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the package to the address you provided.

9. Defects, damage, and returns

Made-to-order items cannot be returned because of a change of mind or a size you selected. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items are reprinted or refunded at your choice under the Refund and Reprint Policy. These rights are in addition to rights under applicable law.

10. Your information and communications

You agree to provide accurate contact and shipping information. Payment confirmation and order status are provided through the checkout and Store experience; we may also send operational messages when available. Email support@bacon-republic.com with your order number for support or available tracking details. A purchase does not by itself consent to marketing.

11. Intellectual property

The Bacon Republic name, logos, designs, artwork, slogans (including “Live Free Eat Bacon”), and Store content are owned by Joseph Schwartz (The Bacon Republic) or licensed to him and are protected by trademark and copyright law. Buying a product gives you the physical item only; it does not grant a right to reproduce, resell as new, or commercially use our designs.

12. Warranty disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and the Refund and Reprint Policy, products are provided “as is,” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Some states do not allow this disclaimer, so it may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first at support@bacon-republic.com; most issues are resolved quickly. A dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home state or in small-claims court.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order. The effective date shows when the current version was last changed.
